Frame description
Prescription glasses RB 2242-V are from the latest Ray-Ban Change collection. The iconic Oval Wayfarer silhouette is characterized by its massive frame and sides, metal rivets on the sides on the front of the frame and the iconic brand logo. The rounded shape of the glasses looks very retro, but at the same time stylish and timeless. It is made of premium acetate, which, thanks to a new innovative technology, contains self-coloring pigments that react to light and change their color essence. Specifically, the color designation RB 2242V 8293 is an azure blue semi-transparent interior, and when the light conditions change and in response to UV, the frame color changes to dark gray with a wave-shaped print. "Can't you just decide on one frame color? Why not have both?" The intensity of the transformation depends on the amount of light present, so the possibilities of color combinations are endless.

In case you want to buy optical glasses as a fashion accessory without the need diopter, we advise you then to choose a basic or standard lenses. All originals eyeglasses have the logo of the brand and therefore can not be used as such. To significantly enhanced the aesthetic appeal we recommend you to choose the standard lenses from Zeiss with anti-reflect coating.
Determine the size of your existing glasses and compare with the size of the selected frames. If you already own a correction or sunglasses, please read the size of the frames on the inside of the temples. In some cases, information may be placed on the inner side of the nose bridge and are usually given in millimeters (mm).
Indication of the size of the frame is mostly made up of three numbers and might look like this:
54-16-140 or 54 □ 16 140
Number 54 indicates the width of the eye part of your frames in mm, number 16 the nose bridge width in mm, number 140 indicates the length of the temples of your frames in mm
Looking into your mirror, hold a ruler so it is lined up with your temple. (See illustration for proper positioning) You can put a pen or pencil on each ear to help position a ruler Measure in mm the distance between your left and right temples You must only order a frame in which its size is within +/- 3 mm of your size
The size type gives you an indication on how the glasses are overall fiiting to a normal size face. for example a small size glasses are fitting rather small to a normal size face. We also have medium size and large size glasses.
Lense width in mm. For example size 50 means the lense width is 50 mm.
