Privacy Policy Easy Optic

Easy Eye Wear Ltd., Company ID 24298085, Tax No CZ24298085, registered at Jugoslávská 659/11, 120 00 Prague 2, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 194222 (the "Seller"), for the sale of optical glasses and aids to end users via an online store located at www.easyoptic.cz and for personal purchase at the seller's premises

Introductory provisions

The Seller processes the personal data of the buyer, the bidder and other persons (collectively the "Buyer") in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, ie Act No. 101/2001 Coll., On the Protection of Personal Data, and from 25 May 2018 also in accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and EU Council No. 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).

The seller is a personal data administrator. By processing personal data, the seller may assign a third party as processor. Seller passes personal data to third parties only to the extent necessary for the purpose of processing, such as carriers, payment service providers or other subcontractors. The processor must respect the protection of personal data at least to the same extent as the controller.

Personal data will not be processed outside the territory of the European Union.

Processed personal data, reason and purpose of processing

The seller processes these personal data of the buyer (s): name and surname, home address, identification number, tax identification number, e-mail address and telephone number. The vendor further processes data on the vision health condition to the extent necessary for the individual production of the optical correction, i.e. the eyeglasses.

The purpose for which the data processor is processing is:
(i) order execution
(ii) sending the goods for the test or fulfilling the purchase contract
(iii) the sending of information emails by the seller, in particular with the latest news and promotions

The legitimate reason for the processing of personal data is:
(i) performance of the contract including pre-contractual arrangements at the request of the buyer (e.g. eye examination)
(ii) the seller's legitimate interest in providing direct marketing
(iii) consent to the sending of information emails

Storing and processing of personal data

The Seller processes personal data according to the way it is obtained either in electronic or paper form. The Seller declares that it has taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect and safeguard personal data in such a way that it is not endangered, leaked or damaged.

The data obtained for the performance of the contract will be retained by the seller for the time necessary to meet the contract, claim the contract (for a maximum of 10 years) and the statutory obligations related to the concluded contract and its fulfillment, such as accounting, tax and other obligations, the period laid down by the relevant legislation.

The state of health, including prescription made by the doctor and eye examinations at the vendor, are kept in the manner and for the time determined in accordance with Act No. 268/2014 Coll., On Medical Devices and according to Act No. 372/2011 Coll. on health services.

Data obtained for the purpose of sending email information based on buyer's consent will be retained by the seller until the buyer withdraws consent.

Third-party sites (in particular Google and Facebook) use cookies that store the seller's website on the buyer's device, and allow records to be used to visit the seller's website to measure and target the ad. By using a cookie-enabled browser website, the buyer agrees to use it under the Privacy Policy. The seller does not associate cookie information with the buyer as a specific user. Cookie preferences can be set within the buyer's browser where they can be completely disabled and deleted.

Buyer's rights

In particular, the buyer has the following rights regarding personal data:
(i) the right of access to his or her personal data, including the right to request from the seller a confirmation that he or she manages the personal data and, if so, what, for what purpose, to whom it is transmitted, how long they will be stored, etc .;
(ii) the right to correct or correct any inaccuracies;
(iii) the right of cancellation if (no longer) there is any reason to do so;
(iv) the right to object (eg incorrect or unlawful retention of data);
(v) the right to data transferability - that is, in some cases the right to obtain its personal data from the seller for the purpose of handing over to another trustee;
(vi) the right to object;
(vii) the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority, which is the Office for the Protection of Personal Data (www.uoou.cz) in the Czech Republic.

Right to withdraw consent

If the buyer disagrees with sending newsletters about news and offers, he may at any time notify the seller of his disagreement with the sending of such emails. The easiest way is to use the link contained in each email.

Revocation or non-acceptance of such consent cannot be a reason for non-conclusion or non-fulfillment of the contract by the seller.

Buyer's statement

By posting the order, the buyer confirms that he / she has become familiar with the Personal Data Protection and has comprehended his / her content, in particular the extent of the personal data processed, the purpose and the reason for such processing, he / she is aware of his / her rights arising from the protection of personal data and agrees with the Privacy Policy.

Final Provisions

If the buyer requests additional information, he can contact the seller at any time.

This Privacy Policy becomes effective on September 1, 2018. The Seller is entitled to supplement or change the Protection of Personal Data while maintaining the Buyer's legal rights.
