Privacy Policy Easy Optic

Easy Eye Wear Ltd., Company ID 24298085, Tax No CZ24298085, registered at Jugoslávská 659/11, 120 00 Prague 2, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, Insert 194222 (the "Seller"), as the operator of the website www.easyoptic.cz (“website”) and the provider of the services described in the business conditions available on the website https://www.easyoptic.cz/en/terms-and-conditions (“business conditions”), which in particular, they include the presentation of eyeglasses and sunglasses, prescription lenses and contact lenses and their sale via the e-shop and in the optical shop Easy Optic ("services").

Read how we process your personal data if you are our customer or user of our services, for example if you subscribe to our newsletter (“You”). These policies also contain important information about your rights.

Who processes your data:

The administrator of your personal data is the Seller and other persons who provide us with their services are Processors. You can contact the Seller at the address of his place of business: Jugoslávská 21, Prague 2, 120 00 or by email: info@easyoptic.cz.

Why we process your data, what personal data we process, and what is the legal reason:

We, as the Seller, process your personal data such as name and surname, home address, identification number, tax identification number, e-mail address and telephone number. We further process data on the vision health condition to the extent necessary for the production of the eye correction tool, i.e. the eyeglasses.

The purpose for which we process your data:

  1. To provide services: In order to fulfill our contractual obligations to you based on the terms and conditions. These obligations constitute the performance of a contract between you and us. For this purpose, we may process your data that you have provided to us, or that you will provide to us in the future by registering to use or otherwise using our services.
    When using our services, you agree that we can keep your data for a reasonable period of time, if our further cooperation in the future is a prerequisite. If you withdraw your consent, we will delete your data, unless point 4 below applies for its retention.
  2. To send newsletters: If you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will occasionally send you a newsletter about our services in order to fulfill your order for sending the newsletter. If you have registered on the website and have not refused to receive a newsletter about our services, we may occasionally send you this newsletter because it is in our legitimate interest. You can cancel the sending of the newsletter at any time in the manner described below (objections to processing). If we explicitly ask you whether you wish to receive our newsletter and you do not confirm your interest in sending it, we will consider it a refusal and we will not send you the newsletter.
  3. To promote and improve services: If you use our services, we will occasionally inform you about news related to such services. This also applies if you do not subscribe to the newsletter. You can refuse to receive newsletters at any time, however, the promotion of our services is our legitimate interest.
  4. To protect our rights: We may process your data that is necessary to exercise a claim from our rights. At the same time, even after you cancel your registration, we may need your data for the purpose of protecting our rights. Such a purpose is our legitimate interest and we are entitled to process your data that you have given us or that you will transfer to us in the future in the course of dealing with the use of the website. Such data may in particular include your name, contact details and details of the registration process.
  5. To fulfill legal obligations: For example, if you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we will work with such information so that no newsletter is sent to you.

Storing and period of personal data processing

We process personal data according to the method of obtaining them either in electronic or paper form. We declare that we have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect and secure personal data so that they are not compromised, leaked or damaged.

How long we will process your data:

Data for the purpose according to subsection (1) – provision of services – data obtained for the purpose of fulfilling the contract will be kept for the time necessary to fulfill the contract, exercise claims from the contract (for a maximum period of 10 years) and legal obligations related to the concluded contract and its fulfillment, such as are accounting, tax and other obligations, for the period specified by the relevant legislation.

Data related to health status, including vouchers for the manufacture of glasses from a doctor and data on eye examinations are stored with us in the manner and for the period determined in accordance with Act No. 89/2021 Coll., on medical devices and in accordance with Act No. 372/2011 Coll., about health services.

We will process data for the purpose according to subsection (2) - sending newsletters - until you refuse to send newsletters.

We will process the data for the purpose according to subsection (3) - promotion and improvement of services - as long as our legitimate interest lasts or you do not refuse such processing.

We will process data for the purpose of subsection (4) – protection of our rights – as long as our legitimate interest lasts.
We will process data for the purpose according to subsection (5) – fulfillment of legal obligations – as long as our legal obligation lasts.

To whom we may transfer your data:

We may transfer your data to other processors who provide us with prescription lenses, IT services, marketing and other support services, but always in accordance with the above purposes. If we transfer your data outside the EU, the protection of personal data will be ensured on the basis of standard contractual clauses. Your rights

Legal regulations on the protection of personal data guarantee you various rights in the area of ??personal data protection: To the extent that this is guaranteed by the regulations on the protection of personal data - in particular the GDPR - you can request from us access to your personal data (i.e. information about your specific we process the data and how we process it), restriction of the processing of your data (this means that we will not delete the data yet, but we will not process it) and their deletion and correction (always if the legal conditions for this are met), and you can also object to the processing and you can exercise the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the above contact details - the easiest is to send us an email and we will be happy to help you exercise your rights. If you believe that we are violating legal regulations by processing your personal data, you can file a complaint with the national supervisory authority (for the Czech Republic, the Office for the Protection of Personal Data - www.uoou.cz).

Objections to processing:
If you do not agree that we use your data to send newsletters, you can opt out. The easiest way is to use the link that is in each newsletter, or you can send us an objection by email or letter, and if it is technically possible, then also during registration. If you refuse such processing, we will stop sending you newsletters. You can also refuse other processing based on legitimate interest and we will limit it unless we demonstrate serious and qualified legitimate reasons for the processing.

Cookies and other network identifiers

When you use our website, we or third parties store small identification files on your computer, collectively called cookies, which enable us to recognize that you return to our website from the same computer, enable us to remember some of your choices and enable us to verify whether you belong to a group, which a certain advertisement is to be displayed. We also use measuring pixels (sometimes also called web beacons), which are small images on a web page that are designed to collect certain information from your computer, such as its IP address or browser type.
We do not use any of these network identifiers to identify you as an individual by matching identification or contact information we have about you to the identifier.

We use cookies and other network identifiers for the following purposes:

  • Evaluating advertising and other content and improving the function of the website and services: Cookies allow us to know the settings that have been selected on a given computer and browsing and allow us to find out what the user of a given computer was interested in.
  • Display of relevant advertising: Based on the information detected, we and possibly third parties may display advertising to visitors of our website that may be useful to them.

You have control over the use of cookies: On our website, we always ask you for your express consent to the use of cookies, and you thus have the opportunity to decide whether you agree to the use of cookies. If you do not give your consent, we can only use cookies necessary for the functioning of our services.

Processing of your data when visiting the establishment

We monitor our premises with a camera system. We place cameras in these places for the purpose of protecting our legitimate interests, which are the prevention of damage and the protection of property. Only our authorized employees have access to the records and the servers where these records are stored. Camera recordings from our stores and the surrounding area are processed for a maximum of 30 days from the date of their acquisition.

By sending the order, you confirm that you have familiarized yourself with the Personal Data Protection and understand its content, in particular the scope of personal data processed, the purpose and reason for this processing, you are aware of your rights arising from the protection of personal data and you agree with the Personal Data Protection.
