Eyeglass Size Chart

How to read your glasses and choose the correct size

Measurements For a Frame

A frame has 3 basic frame sizes ( eye, bridge, temple):

Eye Size - refers to the horizontal width in millimeters of one of the frame's lenses

Bridge Size - measurement is the distance in millimeters between the two lenses. It is measured between the two closest points of the two lenses.

Temple Size - is measured along the length of the temple, from one end to the other, including the bend

Reading Your Frame Size

Find Your Current Frame Size

If you already own an eyeglass or a sunglass frame, look on the inside of each temple to find the size of the frame. If the size is not on the temple look under the bridge

Measure Yourself to Determine Your Frame Size

• Looking into your mirror, hold a ruler so it is lined up with your temple. (See illustration for proper positioning)

• You can put a pen or pencil on each ear to help position a ruler

• Measure in mm the distance between your left and right temples.

• You must only order a frame in which its size is within +/- 3 mm of your size.
